Mums and Babies exercise fitness at DW Fitness Club, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales (open to NON DW Fitness Club members). This is a block-booked class uniquely directed towards mums and babies to have a workout set to their own pace. This is a great opportunity for meeting new mums and starting to get back that 'pre pregnancy' shape. Breast feeding and nappy changing acceptable during class.

This is a fun and sociable class where you get to exercise with your baby by your side. Improves Cardiovascular fitness, Improves muscular strength, facilitates weight loss, creates a more positive mood, reduces anxiety and depression, increases energy levels.
"After having my daughter I came across Carol's mums & babies fitness class and absolutely loved it! I did 3 blocks of lessons and enjoyed every single one. I met a group of lovely ladies and Carol is so friendly and easy to get on with, most of us stayed for lunch or a coffee afterwards which was great. As a new mum it's really important to get out and meet other mums and this class helped me do that. In addition, it's active & fun and has helped me tone up. It's worked wonders for my physical and mental health. I felt I could access all exercises at my own pace/ level, stop whenever needed to breastfeed or change my little one and just generally be myself. "I started the mums and babies class with Carol when little one was 7 weeks old. I just wanted something to a) get me out of the house for an hour or so b) to meet other likeminded mums c) an excuse to wear a pair of trainers I'd bought before I found out I was expecting!! Not only did Carols class meet all these expectations ...it completely surpassed them in that I lost a bit of weight and made some very good friends in the process. I have only just finished this class after 7 months and the only reason for this is to return to work. If I could I'd still be going!! I would highly recommend Carol as an instructor... She's knowledgeable, likeable and also a good laugh.... And let's be honest who wouldn't want that after the process of giving birth to a baby!! You can have a good workout whilst your little one gurgles next to you smiling away. You can also work at your own pace and I found it a safe and comfortable place to breastfeed (this normally happened when the ab workout was about to begin !!). To all of those debating whether to contact Carol about this class ...My advice is just do it!! You won't regret it!" Ffion
"Carol's mums and babies class is fantastic. I find it hard to prioritise my own health with a new baby, and Carol's class has been a perfect way to regain my fitness after pregnancy and childbirth. I started when my baby was 8 weeks old when it was important that I just move and stretch. After a couple of months, I find the exercises challenging and perfect for regaining my strength. The exercises are well pitched for mums at different levels of fitness and recovery. I look forward to and enjoy the classes and always feel much better after the session. Carol is great fun and has created a lovely community of mums and babies. My baby also enjoys the classes, especially when I do push-ups and kiss her on the nose." Maggie
